The History

In 2005 Dahui Wax Hawaii  Owner and CEO, John relocated to the North Shore of Oahu from Santa Barbara California after 30 years of working as a Professional Polo player. John worked as a Professional Photographer,  a hobby he excelled  in during his time in Hawaii. John has captured some of the Industry's best in life changing moments, and documented moments that he has seen first hand. This only furthered his love of the sport. During this time John also helped develop  another surf wax brand.  John Hall during this time partnered with Eddie Rothman Dahui Brand Founder through a relationship he built with his son Pro Surfer Koa Rothman when Koa was 8. Pro Surfers like Koa, and  John-John Florence were of the first to test the brand and ultimately lead to this collaboration. John was committed to making the best surf wax in the Industry now the rest is history.  John has continued every year to formulate on a small scale the best USA made surf wax. John and his Team at Dahui Wax Hawaii  will also be introducing a Reef Safe surf wax in the very near future.
